Pitch is an all-inclusive camping experience at which guests can choose their level of immersion with nature.

Challenge:

Growing up in the wooded heart of Upstate New York, a love and respect for the outdoors was woven into every aspect of my childhood. After moving to Brooklyn for college, I longed for a chance to get back out to the quiet comfort of the woods for a camping trip. I began polling my peers on their likelihood of heading out of the city on such a trip, and the friction points stopping them from doing so.

• I can’t afford all of the gear required for camping

• I have no place to store it all afterwards

• Camping is too much work

• It’s too daunting/intimidating/dirty

• I’ve never gone camping and I don’t know where to start

Solution:

Pitch Camping Experience works like any other all-inclusive resort. Everything needed for a camping trip is already there, ready to go. Guests can choose between basic tent camping, glamping in a platform tent, cozying up in a cabin, or relaxing in a luxury suite.

From the moment guests arrive, everything they could possibly need is taken care of. The sleeping arrangements are set up, the fire is lit, and there's a hammock with their name on it. The team at Pitch has handled everything, so guests can leave stress behind and focus on the best parts of camping- relaxing and connecting in nature.

Located only an hour’s train ride north of New York City and nestled in the Catskill Mountains, Pitch Camping Experience is geared towards people living in the NYC Metropolitan Area.
